Finding Your Voice: Fandom Fights Mental Illness
Compilations Available: May
Minimum Donation: $10
Submissions Deadline: 4/25
One in every four adults, that’s 57.7 million Americans, experience a mental health disorder in a given year. That is a staggering fact. 25% of Americans suffer from the various diseases falling under the umbrella of mental illness, and yet, there is such a stigma around it, that many people suffering don’t take the necessary steps to get the help they need.
The fear of being labeled as ‘crazy’ and being treated differently robs the individual of their voice in the matter, leaving them unable to speak out and get the help they need. Finding Your Voice: Fandom Fights Mental Illness will raise funds during the month of May, which is Mental Illness Awareness Monthto benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness(NAMI), a charity that deals with assisting those who suffer from Mental illness as well and their families and works towards education and advocacy, helping to bring awareness to the growing problem that is plaguing our country.

Fandom Fealty Fundraiser
Compilations Available: May
Minimum Donation: $5
Submissions Deadline: 4/30
A year ago, violent earthquakes shook the small island of Haiti. The results were devastating, especially in the capitol. Homes crumbled, schools collapsed, and even well-built places such as hospitals and government buildings stood no chance against the 7.0 magnitude earthquake. There are various such natural disasters that come our attention. Lots of the time, we tend to think that other people are donating their money…other people are taking care of the problem. But as is obvious with Haiti, more is needed. We who enjoy the luxury of computers and sturdy homes and take-out food and movies can spare a few dollars to help a person who is lying a tent, robbed of a home, health, and clean water.
The Twinklings Community have the strongest belief in this fandom and ask that you pledge fealty to humankind by donating a minimum of $5 to the cause of your choice. In return, not only will you have the satisfaction of knowing that you might have changed someone’s life, but you will also receive a compilation of one-shots written by various authors. While we certainly encourage that you donate to a charity that is actively helping in Haiti, we will not discriminate towards any other causes. Any charity is eligible. If you choose to donate through another Twilight fandom driven fundraiser, such as Fandoms Fight the Floods, FoxyFics, or Fandom Against Domestic Violence, we will also send you our compilation of stories.

Banners for Causes
Authors are often asked and encouraged to help raise awareness and monetary support for a multitude of charitable causes by submitting one-shots or outtakes, sometimes even original pieces of fiction to a compilation. Banner Makers, Graphic Artists, and Website Designers have a way to help too!
Banners for Causes helps coordinate the creation of promotional materials for a cause, such as headers for websites and buttons for supporters. Also, putting together websites and blogs when the need calls for it, the development of graphic packages (wallpapers, Twitter backgrounds, icons, avatars, etc.) to be sent along with the compilation of stories, and banner makers with authors for the one-shots/outtakes they are writing to go along with the compilation.
